ChimeraXR Mobile App
Developed using the React Native front-end framework, the ChimeraXR mobile app was designed to enhance the user experience by offering a seamless connection to the ChimeraXR VR system through cloud networking. This allows users to easily access and view data sets related to their specific learning objectives and completed exercises, while also providing them with full control over their VR experience through a user-friendly interface on both iOS and Android devices.
Drill Logs
The Drill Log screen enables users to seamlessly connect to the ChimeraXR VR system via cloud networking, providing them with the ability to view data sets related to their completed exercises.
By selecting any of the completed drills, we can view detailed statistics and data visualizations that provide insights into key performance metrics such as overall hover infractions, total shots fired, and overall accuracy.
Remote Control
The intuitive remote control screen enhances the user experience by providing seamless mobile spectator control functionality, streamlining the end-to-end process and granting full control of the VR experience through a user-friendly iOS or Android application.
The spectator control functionality offers a versatile and efficient way to communicate between the server and the client.
It comprises of two modes, one being cloud-based remote control that uses the internet to send HTTP requests to call different events within the software, making it possible for standalone VR systems to be controlled remotely.
The second mode, LAN-based remote control, sends requests directly to the software without the need for an internet connection, this mode is mainly used for PC VR software builds that can run a dedicated server locally on the machine.
Account Registration
Creating an account with the Chimeraxr mobile app is a breeze. Simply head to the app's Settings, select Login, and then Register for a new account. All you need is your full name, email address, and a password. After you've entered your information, simply hit submit and wait for a verification code to arrive in your inbox. Once you've received the code, simply enter it in the One-Time Password (OTP) screen and your account will be up and running!
